What is league 26 ?

League 26 or NUCS consists of over 3000 boys and girls on over 300 soccer teams. We are part of the Utah Youth Soccer Association. Our league covers a broad geographic area. From Lindon on the South to Eagle Mountain in the North West. Our goal is to foster the physical, mental and emotional growth and development of our youth, with their families, through the sport of soccer at all ages and different levels of competition. We are committed to making soccer fun and instilling in young players a lifelong passion for the sport. When a player registers within NUCS, the player joins the only soccer association in Utah that is a member of the United States Youth Soccer Association (USYSA). US Youth Soccer with 3 million plus players is the largest youth soccer association in the United States offering a range of play from the 4 year old beginning recreation player to the very skilled national team player. Utah Youth Soccer is a direct affiliate of the United States Soccer Federation (USSF). US Soccer, along with 200 other national soccer organizations is a member of the Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) which serves as the international governing body for soccer. Together, local, national, and international organizations form a family of support and information for the youth soccer players of Utah.

What are the Programs?

Challenger is our recreation soccer program. Everyone plays. For administrative purposes it's in 2 groups, Challenger I and Challenger II. Children in Challenger are ages 4 - 16. Children from Lindon to Eagle Mountain are welcome to join. Games are played in the A.F., Cedar Hills, Alpine, Highland area. Cost $50-$60

The next level of soccer is District Competition or "AA". This is a more competitive soccer and includes children from the ages of 8 - 17. There are annual tryouts in May for these teams. Teams are formed from kids in our league. Additional info for District Competition can be found on this website and at the District 5 Website. Games are played mostly in Utah County. On occation, teams from Heber and Vernal/Roosevelt join, which may require an away game there. Cost $90-$150.

The next level of competition is State Competition. This the highest level of competition in the state. Different clubs and/or teams have individual tryouts for these teams usually in late May and early June.Additional info for District Competition can be found at the District 5 Website and the State Website. Teams played on a weekly basis can range from Delta to Logan. Cost $300-$2000 depending on club/team fees.
